I knew life would improve once Obama was elected. And while I’m not sure if it’s directly related to the changes that Obama promised, Boom! Studios has announced a new title coming in early 2009: The Muppets. I swear on all that is holy and made of felt and fur. You don’t have to visit this site for very long to realize there are basically three pillars holding it up: Star Wars, He-Man and the Muppets. I got a Muppet Whatnot for Christmas; there was a new Muppet TV special; now this. It’s going to be a good year. The Muppets comic is being brought to life by Roger Langridge, best known for the Fred the Clown series. I don’t have an exact release date yet, but will ask my Sexy Comics Monger on Wednesday. For now, you can read more about it here. Incidentally, Boom! Studios is also behind the new Farscape comic series, and issue #1 is available in comic book store now!
