Everyone is going noir lately, and now Star Wars has joined the likes of Marvel in delving into the stark and gritty look of the film noir classics. I’ve collected only a handful of posters over the years, and most of them are from The Empire Strikes Back, because all of the poster art was so moody and evocative. Though I did buy a gigantic bus shelter poster of Evita for some reason a few years ago. (I was going through a particularly obsessive Madonna phase at the time. But, who wasn’t?) I’m definitely going to have to add this little Star Wars tribute to the collection. Mark and Carrie look so young and gorgeous, and I love the retro feel of the type and layout. It’s limited to 2,000 and is available at StarWarsShop.com for only $29.99. Oo, I hope they do one for Empire!
