Alice in Wonderland (March 2010) Tim Burton unleashes Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter on the Disney classic. Alas, Disney is actually releasing this, so Alice will probably survive at the end.
Where the Wild Things Are (October 2009)
A brilliant teaser trailer definitely got my attention. This new trailer builds on that, keeping the hope alive that a movie could actually capture the magic of the book. I hope this hasn’t all been an elaborate plot to slip in some wise-cracking wild things voiced by Mike Meyers and Jack Black.
The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus (October 2009)
We’ve all heard about how Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell stepped in to fill in the gaps of Heather Ledger‘s final performance. But did you know they each donated their fee to Ledger’s daughter Matilda? That’s a good enough reason for me to see this.
Tron: Legacy
Okay. I have a confession to make. I haven’t seen Tron since I was just a little fanboy padawan, and I don’t remember a whole lot about it, except what I learned while playing Kingdom Hearts 2. So I’m going to have to do some homework on this one, in order to understand how and why this trailer is so cool. Unfortunately, I couldn’t embed this one.
