Greetings from Gaylaxicon 2011 in beautiful (and super gay) Atlanta, GA. The show is now open, and we are all set up, chatting with other vendors and greeting the crowds. Prism Comics founder and LGBT comics guru/warlord Zan Christensen is here! Fanboys of the Universe (i.e., yours truly) has set up “shop” at the Prism booth, so thank you very much to Prism for once again allowing me to ride on their rainbow coattails.
The Gaylaxicon schedule is packed with panels, games, special guests, screenings and parties! I’m particularly interested in “The Big-Ass Doctor Who Panel” and “What in the Blue Hell is M/M?” This year’s special guest is Amber Benson, and I’m looking forward to asking her to do a monologue from her Glory-affected brain damage days on Buffy.
