Welcome to the first FBOTU contest to WIN an exclusive King Grayskull figure from Mattel’s Masters of the Universe Classics line! So if you didn’t get one at Comic-Con and you haven’t bought one at Mattel’s new collector’s site, don’t worry! You can win a FREE one from Fanboys of the Universe!
The first contest is easy. All you have to do is visit So Super Duper, read up on the characters, then write a haiku about your favorite character! What could be easier or more fun? Here’s an example that I wrote about my favorite character, Tink:
What is your purpose
Tiny pink fairy that laughs
“Tee hee” at the world?
If you’re not familiar with haiku, it’s three lines structured into a specific number of syllables. The first line is 5 syllables, the second is 7 and third is 5 again. It doesn’t rhyme, which is why I like it. You can read more about haiku here. So let your creative juices flow and get to it! Post your entries in the comments section below. So Super Duper creator Brian Andersen will choose the winner and even throw in an autographed copy of So Super Duper! Contest ends Friday, August 1 at midnight (PST)! So start haiku-ing!
