I woke up in a cold sweat in the middle of the night recently, with only one thing on my mind: Why doesn’t Spider-Woman have a theme song? Then, as if Marvel had been monitoring my dreams…again…this appeared. A music video, of sorts, featuring Marvel’s successful Spider-Woman motion comic and “Watch Your Step,” a song by Dan Phillips (with Anna Abbey). I am very often told I have bad taste in music, which is why we don’t have a stronger music presence on this site. (But hey, if you’re interested in being FBOTU‘s Contributing Music Editor, let me know.) Having said that, even I found the song a little lackluster upon first listen. But it got in my head, and I sang, hummed and made up words to the song for hours afterward. So give it a listen, and let me know what you think. Now, can we get a theme song for Thor? (You know, that’s not this.)
