Have a Gay Ol’ Time with PRISM at WonderCon!

If you’re going to WonderCon in San Francisco April 2-4 and you want to be at the center of all the gay action, then Prism Comics wants you! Prism, the non-profit, all-volunteer organization promoting LGBT comic books and comics creators, is looking for volunteers to help out at their booth at WonderCon. Prism Comics is “LGBT Central” at the show, and it’s a lot of fun working at the booth. I’ve volunteered with Prism before, so you can trust me when I tell you it’s the best place to meet LGBT comic book creators, as well as other gay comics fans.

Prism will give you a quick volunteer tutorial, then you’ll jump right in and start helping! My favorite part of volunteering is recommending books to people who are brand new to LGBT comics. And, of course, being in close proximity to comics hotties like Zan Christensen, Tommy Roddy and Justin Hall.

To volunteer or for more information, just write to Ted, Prism’s Volunteer Coordinator, at ted@prismcomics.org. Ted is very friendly and will fill you in on all you need to know. Just tell him Chance sent you!

For more information about Prism Comics, be sure to check out PrismComics.org. See you in San Francisco!
