I had a rather busy weekend, what with the Doctor Who convention and the US premiere of season three of the UK version of Being Human. (Just saying that took up a lot of my time.) Kicking off the weekend, of course, was the opening of the Henry & Glenn Gang Bang book signing and art show at La Luz de Jesus Gallery in Los Angeles. The art ranged from whimsical to erotic to disturbing, as well as combinations of each, so I loved it. I got to chat with artist Dave Davenport about the inspired use of duct tape in his contribution to the show. I also ran into Ed Luce, who gave me the lowdown on his recent exhibit in Amsterdam AND handed over prints of the two pieces he contributed to the exhibit! Woohoo! And we’re going to give them away to a lucky site member!
• Each 8” x 8” print of Ed’s two limited-edition pieces, “Henry & Glenn, Cat Fanciers” and “Henry & Glenn, Newlyweds,” is reproduced in crisp, bright color on archival-quality paper!
• We’ve also got a signed copy of Henry & Glenn Forever to go along with Ed’s artwork. Each of the Igloo Tornado guys (Tom Neely, Gin Stevens, Scot Nobles and Levon Jihanian) signed the book and added a little sketch.
If you’re a fan of Ed, Henry & Glenn and/or both, you’re definitely going to want these in your collection.
All you have to do to enter is type “Henry & Glenn & Ed Forever” in the comments section below. At the stroke of midnight tonight, a winner will be randomly selected (i.e., pulled out of a hat). Super easy!
Good luck! And thanks to Ed Luce and Igloo Tornado for their generosity and support!
