Warner Bros. just released this image, featuring Henry Cavill as the Kryptonian boy who lived in Zack Snyder’s upcoming Man of Steel. That is, I think he’s still from Krypton. Maybe he was bitten by a radioactive boy scout in this version. Since General Zod (Michael Shannon) is involved, though, I think we can assume Krypton, Kryptonite and spinning plate glass prisons will all be in the script somewhere.
Man of Steel stars Cavill as Supes and Amy Adams (Psycho Beach Party) as Lois Lane. Laurence Fishburne (Pee-Wee’s Playhouse) just signed on as Perry White. If the cross-race casting bothers you for some reason (P.S. It shouldn’t.), don’t fret. Diane Lane and Kevin Costner, the whitest people in the world, will play the whitest people in comics: the Kents.
