That’s plenty of time to read the adventures of the zombie-killing Bennet sisters and their pursuit of the living dead and potential husbands. By some grand coincidence, movie adaptations of Jane Austen’s Emma and Pride and Prejudice were on TV this past week. While watching, I couldn’t help expecting hordes of zombies to suddenly appear and break up whatever ball or pastoral scene was going on. I guess I’ll never look at Jane Austen the same way again.
