Many times over the past year, I’ve tried to persuade our Fanboys of the Month to go on tour and meet their fans, and I always get the same response: “I…have to go stand over here now.” So, I’m very excited to announce that July FBOTM Captain Lucky and the whole Lucky Legendary team will be making appearances and meeting fans throughout the weekend at San Diego Comic-Con 2009! Here’s their schedule of events:
Friday, July 24 (9:00 PM – 2:00 AM)
Lucky Legendary co-sponsors the SDCC Dance Party with Prism Comics at Rich’s Nightclub in Hillcrest.
Saturday, July 25 (2:00 PM – 3:00 PM)
Lucky Legendary booth appearance at Prism Comics booth (#2146) at 2:00 PM. Come meet Captain Lucky, Tauren, Justice, Leawyn and Star Stud. Resident artist, Shaun Spanky Piela, will be on hand to sketch your favorite Legend!
Saturday, July 25 (3:00 PM – 4:00 PM)
Lucky Legendary appears at the Binary Winter Press booth in the Small Press area cross-promoting their book, The Irreverent Redemption, and the new illustrated book Ash and Ember.
Sunday, July 26 (12:00 PM)
Captain Lucky and Tauren will have a second booth appearance at the Prism Comics booth. This is your last chance to meet them! Don’t miss out!
